Pakistan Super League 2022 is going to start soon. PSL 2022, Pakistan’s domestic franchise T20 league will start from January 27. In the opening game, Karachi Kings will take on Multan Sultans. A total of 34 matches will be played during the tournament. The final is scheduled to take place on February 27, 2022. The tournament will be held in Pakistan. Two venues have been finalized to host all the matches. They are the National Stadium in Karachi and the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Six teams are part of PSL 2022. They are Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans. During the league phase, each team will play the other teams twice. Finally, the top four 4 teams in the points table of PSL 2022 will qualify for the playoffs. Multan Sultans are the current champions of the tournament.
PSL 2022, also known as PSL 7, will see 34 matches played at two venues in Pakistan, Karachi and Lahore. The final will be played on February 27 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The league stage will see six teams play in a round-robin format, with the top four teams qualifying for the playoff stages. The top two teams will advance to the qualifiers, while the third and fourth placed teams will advance to the first eliminator.
