Android 4.1, Jelly Bean Fast & Smooth with Face Lock

After Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, and Ice Cream Sandwich now Google came with Jelly Bean 4.1. In this new version Google updated the simplicity and beauty of Android 4.0.

Project Butter

This is not a new app launched by Google but it is a step to solve the problem of slow displays in some Android phones and tablets. Google prepared Project Butter so that graphics of screen look smooth just like butter. For this there are few changes in Display. In jelly Bean opening and closing will perform zooming action indifferent from pinching action of Ice Cream Sandwich. In project butter you will get triple buffering and greater touch responsiveness which will make you feel smoother and faster.

Expandable and Actionable Notifications

Jelly Bean 4.1 come up with new notification feature which is more informative and full of actions. It will help users to perform all necessary task, without going to one by one apps. You can drag down on a notification and get extra information’s and options like Gmail messages, preview of multiple text, Google+ photo etc.

A Smarter Keyboard

In this new version Google introduced predictive keyboard. Your keyboard can learn from user’s typing habits that what next word will be typed by user. It has text-to-speech facility too. This smarter keyboard even work when you are not connected with internet, you can type with your voice wherever you want.

Widgets work like magic

Android 4.1 has widget which work like magic. This widget itself adjust its size, and make room for other apps. When any app is bigger in size it will shrink itself. By this feature you can easily set your home screen and manage your apps in your phone. This widget is very easy and convenient in use.

Improved photo feature

This time Google didn’t launch any new camera app which takes lots of time to download and install. Instead of this Google improved its photo feature. In this improved photo feature you can easily move from camera to filmstrip directly and can view photo just after click. If you dislike any photo you can delete it at the same time. Google made photo clicking and sharing very easy by this improved feature.

Accessibility

Google in this new version took attention towards blind users. This time Google tried to make accessibility easier for blind user. For this it come up with better gesture controls and audio feedback. ‘Gesture mode’ can be used by blind user to access mobile and it has combination of speech output too. Users can get voice feedback.

A new look for Search

Google gave new look to Search.  It has redesigned Knowledge Graph which will show your search result in a richer way. It will become very easy to search your queries, get answers and browse your search results. In Voice search feature its own voice will be used within time around. Voice output will seem more human like.

Google Now

Google now become smarter in new version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  User can get all essential information by Google Now. It can give you updates about traffic condition of your area, weather updates, trains schedules etc. It became more helpful and time saving feature for users.
