Now, as per the latest changes in the IRCTC website and app’s interface you can book up to 12 tickets with in a month. But to get this facility first you must have to link your Aadhaar with IRCTC.

As per latest update in book rules by IRCTC you could book up to 12 ticket on a single IRCTC user ID, but this feature will be available only for few users. In this category only those users are include who linked his Aadhaar with IRCTC. If any IRCTC user still not linked his account with Aadhaar then he can book up to 6 tickets only with in a month.
Book Upto 12 tickets by Linking Aadhaar with IRCTC with-in a month
If any IRCTC user linked his Aadhaar with IRCTC account then after the verification, he will be able to book up to 12 tickets on a single ID with in a month. According to the new rules, users can book online tickets 120 days before the traveling. A registered IRCTC user id can book up to two tickets in the morning from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. If the your account linked with Aadhaar then you will be able to book 12 tickets with-in a month.
How to verify IRCTC User ID with Aadhaar
If any IRCTC user link his Aadhaar with his IRCTC account, then he will get facility to book up to 12 tickets within a month from single ID. To do this job you have to take following simple steps.
Step 1: Open www.irctc.co.in in your web browser.
Step 2: Fill user id, password and captcha to sign in your registered IRCTC account. Go to My Account tab and click on the Link Your Aadhaar option.

Step 3: In Aadhaar KYC box, fill the person name and his Aadhaar number, turn on check box and click on the Send OTP button. You will get a OTP number at your registered mobile number, fill the OTP in the box and click on the Verify OTP button.
Step 4: Now KYC response fetched from your Aadhaar. Click on the Update button to complete the Aadhaar verification process. You will get a popup window with confirmation message that you will be able to book up to 12 tickets with in a month. Click OK button.
Now you can again login in your IRCTC account and check you can able to book up to 12 tickets with in a month. We are thankful to IRCTC to update his booking rules and provide additional tickets booking facility to his users.
