Incognito mode is also known as Private mode, Private Browsing or Private Window. It is a privacy feature which is found in some web browser. It is used to disable all the browsing history and allow any user to browse the web without storing the local data.
How to start private browsing using Incognito Mode
If you want to use private browsing to keep safe your data then you have to use incognito mode at your device. You must have to take few given steps to start private browsing using incognito mode.
Turn on Incognito Mode of Android phone
Step 1: To turn on incognito mode at your Android phone first you have to open the Google Chrome. Tap on the three vertical dots which is located at the top right corner at chrome window on your Android phone.
Step 2: To open incognito mode tap on the “New incognito tab” option. You can open more than one incognito tabs at the same time by tapping on the square icon and tap on the plus sign.
You can turn off incognito mode by tapping on the closing button either separately or close opened incognito mode at once.
Turn on Incognito Mode of Desktop PC
Step 1: Double click on the Google chrome web browser. Now, Press Ctrl+Shift+N to open the incognito mode at your desktop PC or Laptop.
Step 2: To open new tab in incognito mode click on the New tab or Press Ctrl+T shortcut key. If you want to close incognito active tab then click on the close button one by one. You can use close button or press ALT+F4 shortcut key to close all active incognito tabs at once.
Normally during surfing web browser it can save your password on your desktop PC or Android phone. But if you want to keep safe your browsing then you have to use incognito mode.
