Steps to Root Micromax A117 Canvas Magnus:

Step 1: Download Framaroot app click here.

Step 2: Copy Framaroot app in your phone internal storage or external SD card.

  2. SuperSu installed but phone memory not increased. Even when installing root checker it is showing insufficient space. Then whats the use of installing SuperSu?

  5. hi sir thank you for yoyr help i hav rooted device and deeted pre installed app. buy mistake i deleted media storage app too now my phn is not showing data saved in my memory card like pics music and vdo gallery is not working its giving error unfortunately stoped please help what to do. thank you sir.

  14. I did root my a117 with your instructions, i need to know if i install a custom ROM such as MIUI or any other roms. When i un root my device (warranty Still available) will rom also be uninstalled and phone will return to its factory default. so that the service center wont deny my warranty.

      I don't suggest you to install any custom Rom on your mobile because, custom Rom means, beginning lot's of problem with your phone.

      if you root your phone warranty gone but unroot or flash your Stock Rom then warranty come back.

    How to resolve sound fluctuation issue for mmx a117.
    Service center has replaced ringer once, they told that this could be s/w issue..they asked me to wait till new android release for this series…
    Can u tell me how to resolve this issue ..because i dont have any hopes from mmx…

    1. Nikhil you have two option to remove you game, first go to root/system/app then find your app and remove it

      second use root uninstaller app.
