Step 3: Use the given following path to reach the “StorageDevicePolicies“.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Now double click on the WriteProtect key which is located at the right side pan. Now set the value to 0 in value data box and click on the OK button.

Step 4: To finish the process simply reboot your system to apply the effects.

Note: If you are not able to find the StorageDevicePolicies in the Control then you must have to take following steps to create it.

Step 1: Active the Control folder in Registry editor window by using the given path.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\

Step 2: To create the StorageDevicePolicies right click in the white space in the active Control folder. Click on the New > Key > Set the name StorageDevicePolicies and press enter.

Step 3: Now again open the StorageDevicePolicies folder and right click again in the white space of StorageDevicePolicies folder. Click on the New > Dword > Set the file name with “WriteProtect” and set its value to 0 and press OK.

Step 4: To finish the process simply reboot your system to apply the effects.
