WhatsApp launches free voice calling feature in Whatsapp for the Indian users. Now it’s available only for who already has the feature updated and it is only for Android Smartphones. For this feature user must be updated with WhatsApp version 2.11.508. According to report, one of Nexus 5 user was activate this calling feature on his Nexus 5 running on Lollipop Android 5.0. Now you can activate this feature by some commands.
In this feature you will see three tabs, first one for calls, second one for chats and third for contacts. WhatsApp call UI is same with contacts and keeps record of all recent calls. If you want to use this feature than you have to activate this feature on both side. For activate this feature you will need to a rooted Android Smartphone (if your phone is not rooted then find your phone root guide click here), Terminal Emulator and WhatsApp version 2.11.508.

How to enable calling feature in Whatsapp app:
Step 1: Install or update WhatsAapp with latest WhatsApp version 2.11.508 click here and install Terminal Emulator from Google play store click here
Step 2: Open Terminal Emulator and type su and tap on enter button in the keyboard. Now you will get a popup tab for su permission, then tap on grant option. After root access then type: am start -n com.whatsapp/com.whatsapp.HomeActivity and tap on the enter button. Now you will see WhatsApp with calls, chats and contacts tabs.

Now you can make a call though WhatsApp but this feature must be activated by the call receiver. If you switched off your phone due to any kind of reason then you have to again follow step no. 1 and 2 to use this feature on your phone.
