In this update ‘Vector’ game is working fine. Update your Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo with stock Rom V4. Canvas Turbo has 1.5 GHz MediaTek Quad Core processor and a 5 inch screen with FHD resolution. 1.  Take a backup of your phone Click here.
2. Take a backup of your IMEI no. by mobile uncle tool Click here.
3. Your phone battery should charge 80% minimum.
4. Make sure proper power backup of your PC.5. Read all steps then do it careful.

How to update Stock Rom V4 on Micromax Canvas Turbo:

Step 1: Install drivers in your PC and Enable USB Debugging on your Phone. Go to Settings >>> Developer options >>> USB debugging check it ( If your phone have Android 4.2 or upper version then see how to enable Developer options here is guide of this Click here). After then switch off your phone.

Step 2:  Extract the Stock ROM folder where you wantSP-Tool

Step 3: Extract and open the SP Tool. Sptool.exe Run as Administrator

Step 4: Click on Scatter-Loading option.

Step 5: SpTool ask you the location of the scatter file in your PC. You will find it in the extracted Stock ROM folder. Now go to the Rom folder and select the file “Android_scatter_emmc.txt” which is our scatter file.

Step 6: Now click on Download.

Step 7: Connect your switch off phone with PC via USB cable  (Make sure your phone is switched off).

Step 8: SP Tool detect your phone and process will start. If Sptool is not recognize/detect your phone then install vcom driver read this post it will help you click here  (Driver already in phone flash drive if you don’t have these drivers then install it)

Step 9: Now start downloading Stock Rom in your phone by flashing

Note: Don’t interrupt this process as it can potentially brick your device. Make sure no power interruption takes place. Step 10:  After the process complete, a green ring will appear.

Step 11: Disconnect your phone. Now your phone is updated.

  6. I waited for More than 3 hours at step no. 8 But it didnt Move to step 9. My frnd said "stop the process and disconnect the phone or the laptop can b harmed as well",, So I did that and now my turbo a250 doesnt switch on.. Is it gone???

    • updates are providing by manufacturers of phones like Samsung, Micromax etc. And they fix the issue and update your phone OS version of your phone by these updates.

      1GB = OS + data of manufacturers (like bloatware apps etc.) + flashing tool and driver

  22. do i have to install adb on my pc i just searched it on the web…. no knowledge of it….
    or i just have to follow the above steps??? without enabling the usb debugging mode as i cant enable usb deg mode at this situation

  26. Sir,My canvas turbo a250 stimulatly hangs after boot and automatically restart, vibrating screen…. Sometimes its work for few munite after boot, the same problem occurs again.. Even i have done factory reset and flash this rom v4 correctly..!
    Please help me

  33. Hi Abhishek,

    Can you let us know when Kit Kat version will be launched. This is quite old now to be on 4.2.1. Also one more issue i have seen in this handset is if you use the flip cover then after receiving any call if you don't lift the flip cover then the display stay dim and never turn off. With my first handset i thought this could be faulty then i bought another one still having same problem… then i checked my friends handset…found same issue..So looks like 90% of the handsets are having this issue. I informed the MMX about this, but as usual they are worst in providing support. I am guessing this is due to faulty set up in proximity sensor. Can you suuegest?

    Recently i bought Xolo Q3000. It works well, but sometime it's screen gets awake automatically, sometimes icons from dock get vanish. Why this is happening. Can u help me plzzzz…..
