This post is a guide to root Micromax A110Q and install CMW recovery via Sptool. Micromax A110Q is updated version of Canvas 2. It is an outstanding phone and root make it powerful device. So root it and customize according to you and install custom app and Rom.
Preparation of flash/update:
1. Take a backup of your phone Click here.
2. Take a backup of your IMEI no. by mobile uncle tool Click here.
3. Your phone battery should charge 80% minimum.
4. Read all steps then do it careful.
5. Make sure proper power backup of your PC.

Downloads Root Tool:
1. Micromax A110Q Preloader_s9086b and scatter Download
2. Micromax A110Q SP-Tool Download
3. Micromax A110Q SuperSU Download
4. Micromax A110Q CWM recovery.img Download
5. Micromax A110Q USB Driver Download.
How to root Micromax A110Q and install CMW recovery:
Step 1: Install drivers in your PC  and Enable USB Debugging on your Phone. Go to Settings >>> Developer options >>> USB debugging check it ( If your phone have Android 4.2 or upper version then see how to enable Developer options here is guide of this Click here). After then switch off your phone.
Step 2:  Download SuperSU file and copy in your phone memory card. Now Download CWM recovery, Preloader_s9086b and scatter file of Micromax A110Q and extract these file in a folder where you want.
Step 3: Extract and open the SP Tool. Sptool.exe Run as Administrator.
Step 4: Click on Scatter-Loading option.
Step 5: SpTool ask you the location of the scatter file in your PC. You will find it in the extracted Stock ROM folder. Now go to the Rom folder and select the file “Android_scatter_emmc.txt” which is our scatter file.
Step 6: Make sure Preloader and recovery selected. Now click on Download.
Step 7: Connect your switch off phone with PC via USB cable  (Make sure your phone is switched off).
Step 8: SP Tool detect your phone and process will start. If Sptool is not recognize/detect your phone then install vcom driver read this post it will help you click here  (Driver already in phone flash drive if you donât have these drivers then install it)
Step 9: Now start downloading Stock Rom in your phone by flashing
Note:Â Don’t interrupt this process as it can potentially brick your device. Make sure no power interruption takes place.
Step 10: Â After the process complete, a green ring will appear.

Step 11: Disconnect your phone. Now your phone is updated.
Step 12:Â Now disconnect your phone. Do not start your phone. Press and hold vol. up & down + power button then select ârecovery modeâ (If your touch not work then use volume up and down key for menu up and down and Power button as a enter button)
Step 13. Click on install button/ choose install and select SuperSU.zip  file from your save location on your SD card and install this file. Now  reboot your phone. Enjoy Rooted phone.

Rooting processor is same for both mobile A110 and A110Q, if it not work then try diffrent SPtool
problem solved but when i click on recovery and select th recovery file an click on download then it says that not all image are correctly and process stucks there

In sptool untick all contant select only recovery file then click download option

But my suggestion is root your Rom and change according to you as like custom Rom
try LEWO rom. it is off-course better than stock rom..10x times better than v2..
trust me.. i have experienced all three ROM available for Micromax A110Q…

lewo Rom is batter but stock Rom is also batter because Micromax not much modify of Rom and we are use default Android version. so i think Google is make best for us. they always try to make batter for us. Now Google release Android 4.4 KitKat. this is also great version and i am share camera, keyboard and boot animation app of Android 4.4. try to use these app and share your view with us.

try second method it also safe and if you want to unroot then open su app then click on unroot your device option.
if you are root then void the warranty of your phone but don't worry about warranty becouse if you have any problem then flash stock rom then go service station warranty is back

Can you pls post a tutorial to root micromax canvas hd (its provided with jellybean 4.1 and upgradable to 4.2, I've upgraded to 4.2). I've tried every tutorial I found on net but none is working (even xdaforum.com tutorial!!). Either SP tool don't detect my phone or else SP tool is not working coz it doesn't progress after i click download button and connect phone. Pls help…
